The Mine Automation / Environmental Simulation Laboratory is a state-of the art research facility that provides simulation services for both members of industry and mining graduate students.
The services provided include:
a complete set of mine modeling and simulation ore body modeling,
flow sheet modeling,
equipment modeling,
analysis for design and reliability,
custom discrete event simulation capabilities, and
instrumentation and measurement for operational improvements (stress, strain, etc.)
