The Mine Automation / Environmental Simulation Laboratory is a state-of the art research facility that provides simulation services for both members of industry and mining graduate students.

The services provided include:

  • a complete set of mine modeling and simulation ore body modeling,
  • flow sheet modeling,
  • equipment modeling,
  • analysis for design and reliability,
  • custom discrete event simulation capabilities, and
  • instrumentation and measurement for operational improvements (stress, strain, etc.)
