Recently, we were privileged to host the Honourable Jagrup Brar, BC Minister for Mining and Critical Minerals. This occasion provided us with the opportunity to display the exceptional work being conducted in the field of critical minerals research at #UBC. The tour was filled with insightful exploration of innovative projects including multidisciplinary research underway at the Bradshaw Research Institute for Minerals and Mining (BRIMM), Dr. Sue Baldwin’s pioneering environmental solutions research, as well as novel clean energy solutions from Dr. Ali Madiseh and Dr. Maria Holuszko.
We take immense pride in contributing towards a future where new mining projects have no negative consequences. We will continue to form partnerships and foster collaboration with the mining industry to signify our commitment to nurturing a greener future for BC, for Canada, and beyond.
