Ready to deepen your expertise in mining waste management and learn from leaders in the field? The next cohort will be starting in September 2025.

Application Deadline

Currently Accepting applications for 2025.  Please indicate preference for starting in January, May or September.

Timeline

This program will run courses as follows:

Year 1: 4 months, including a 2-week synchronous session in the period.
Year 2: 4 months, the next year, including a 2-week in-person session with a field trip in the period.

Application Steps

  1. Pay the Application Fee: Submit payment through the e-payment forms by selecting “Certificate Program Application Fee.”
Take a screenshot of the payment confirmation as this will be required in your online application.
  2. Complete the Online Application Form:
Fill out and submit the Graduate Certificate online application form.
  3. Submit Reference Letters:
Request three reference letters or forms from your referees. Referees must send their letters directly to the Department of Mining Engineering.
  4. Submit Official Transcripts:
Request that your previous institutions mail official transcripts directly to us.
  5. Provide Proof of English Proficiency (if applicable):
If your undergraduate degree was from a non-English language institution, submit English language test scores that meet the program's requirements.
