Each year, we hire a limited number of Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support our undergraduate and graduate courses. TAs play an essential role in helping us deliver high‑quality learning experiences and hands‑on education.
About TA Positions
All undergraduate and graduate students, including non‑research students, are welcome to apply.
TAs at UBC are members of CUPE 2278 (Component 1), and all TA appointments follow the CUPE 2278–UBC Collective Agreement. Union membership is a condition of employment, and salaries are set according to CUPE and UBC rates.
We are committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion. We strongly encourage applications from individuals who identify with groups underrepresented or marginalized under the B.C. Human Rights Code.
