Biography

Ali has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, Canada. He also had been a postdoctoral fellow at Earth/Mine Energy Research Group (EMERG) of McGill University for 3 years. Since 2001, he has been actively involved in the fields of mine-mechanical systems, mine energy systems, thermo-fluids, energy systems, computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer modeling as well as automation and control. His main research interests are mine-mechanical systems, mine energy systems, energy conservation, and renewable energies.
